[Marks] Tillman is on an expiring $1.9M contract. His salary will go into the $6.2M Grant Williams Traded Player Exception. The Celtics will inherit his bird rights and can sign him in the offseason despite their financial limitations. Boston had 8 seconds available before the trade.

10. I think the role of Tillman is kind of similar to Brisset and Stevens, which leads me to feel that Brad will package some bench players to trade for a players with bigger contract, so he finds a replacement for Brisset/Stevens first.
