Heads up from a Bills fan: Buffalo have mutually parted ways with their long term Defensive backs coach/passing game coordinator John Butler. DBs have been a strength and good things were said about him. He also got to call plays for a game last preseason. Mostly likely he wasn’t happy about being passed over by the promotion of Bobby Babich to DC. I won’t be surprised if he’s linked to joining Frazier in some capacity.
So was Macdonald’s Ravens team. Something that made me personally worry a little was the understanding that the Ravens/Bills offenses during those times were very, very good. Teams having to play from behind caused them to pass the ball a lot, playing into the strengths of the Ravens/Bills D. Wondering how that will work with our offense, which still needs to make a step to get to the level of greatness those Ravens/Bills offenses were.
