  1. Dude’s playing with the absolute best mentors he could possibly have ever had. The fake first we sent out in the Poole trade was worth it just for the expertise he’s giving our young guys alone.

  2. He’s also a strong rebounder for a guard. And while he’s not an elite POA defender and probably never will be, he seems to play smart positional team defense, and his propensity for drawing charges is definitely in the elite category.

  3. Imagine being drafted to a team with the best shooting point guard in the history of the game and a top 3 passing point guard in the history of the game right there to mentor you.

    Absolutely perfect situation for him, and somehow he’s actually managing to take it all in.

  4. The anti-Poole. While CP3 has been great coaching up guys and leading the bench it seems all they really needed was a guard like Podz that could push the pace and make plays without turning it over.
