(Jimmy Murphy). #NHLBruins goalie Jeremy Swayman just told reporters that #Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko apologized for the hug slight at the #NHLAllStar game and offered him a hug this morning.
Yeah, I kind of saw it as Demko being in his own world and genuinely not noticing what Swayman was doing. As much as I’m still not over 2011 and get a vindictive delight from the idea of our guys giving Boston the cold shoulder, given Demmer’s a Boston College guy, it seemed unlikely.
Is Demko gunna hug him instead of give him a handshake after we win the cup?
The outrage from Bruins fans on Twitter was ridiculous.
Some people were even tagging his mother who is active on twitter in those hate tweets saying Demmer is an asshole and calling him all type of names.
How bout this, fuck swayman and the Boston ruins.
