  1. Yeah so waste a season with LeBron being 39 and finally looking like Father Time has arrived.

    Great fucking strategy

  2. We shouldn’t trade just to trade. Even if the lakers tax is real so what? Work with it instead of crying about it bc nothing can be changed about that

  3. They not getting Mitchell, the Knicks will outbid easily. So who they think they getting? Trae?

  4. Idk if I’m faded but I don’t see a world where we get a Mitchell type player for those 3 picks

  5. Even if they want to do this. You telling me we can’t make one or two moves with some second round picks????

  6. Having LeBron was fun while it lasted, I guess

I’m very much over this front office

  7. Cool so we punted the season, why just not trade LeBron and AD and get ahead of rebuilding if we’re not looking to compete for a championship

Being in purgatory is fucking pointless. Either compete now or start building the next roster that will compete in the future

  8. West is loaded. All we hope is that the Lakers can fight to make a push with a healthy Bron and AD.

  9. It’s going to be very funny when DLo picks up his 17mil option and then because of the new CBA the Lakers can’t add up different salaries to match that All star player that they lack picks for to begin with. But sure, they can at least hope to get someone. Unserious front office

  10. Embarassing report lol. Did they expect this to make fans feel better? No shot we get Mitchell for AR and 3 firsts. Someone else would absolutely outbid us unless Mitchell went full AD mode and said hes not re-signing with anyone but the Lakers. Ugh this FO is so unserious sometimes. I don’t think they should make a big move but they need some moves around the edges! There has to be someone up for grabs for some 2nds and Gabe Vincent.

  11. all this crying.. I would love to know what deal is there to make for y’all that would completely change the outcome of this season?

  12. If no good trade is available it is the right thing to do, at the same time it is a waste of the first healthy season by our superstars in a while playing this season without a competitive supporting cast. At Lebron’s age there is no guarantees he has one more elite season ahead, but at the same time if we manage to sign a younger star it keeps us competitive going forward. I’ll be deeply disappointed for the next few hours and at the beginning of tonight’s game I’m going to support all our players because as a fan this is the only way hopping this roster will find what is necessary to compete.

  13. Season punted. Ironically, Darvin/Rob/Jeanie all have their hands in their pockets now.

  14. This is dumb as hell. Going from LeBron to Mitchell is a lateral move at best, if we can even get him for that price. We are not competing with Mitchell+AD if the rest of the team is meh.
