All right today is an empty day taking a look at both what the 49ers do on offense uh with the empty formation how you can attack the San Francisco defense with the empty formation and so when San Francisco’s in the empty formation they really like to get it to Christian
Mcaffrey motion him out get him on some quick routes get the ball in his hands quickly okay uh the other thing that they’ll do is they’ll change that up with ways to spread you out and get the quick screens okay the quick screens will go to of course Debo first spread
Them out get it to Debo out in space let him make something happen and then they will use Christian mcaffrey little short motion outside boom get him the football quick and let him go make some hay on the outside so that’s a a part and a staple in the 49ers offense anyways is
Those quick throws get it out of P’s hands let their Playmakers make play play run after catch okay then they go to empty they go Motion Christian mcaffrey out of here and this is what I’m talking about is they’re trying to get him the football a lot of times when they get in
Empty what are they’re going to do is use him on a choice route push up five yards find the window there now not sure uh Brock he’s got an alert over here on this skinny post this is the one that almost gets intercepted but looks to me

Open as well so those are the Staples here we go again this time we’re going to put Christian outside use him as a little more of a decoy right we saw this before he ran in under oh now we’re going to run him on the go route there
Maybe we can Ste one but we run the choice underneath you see these underneath routes across the board but they love the choice routes starting with chrisan mcaffrey then they’ll add their wide receivers in from there Jennings Good in third down situations auk always tough to cover motion Christian mcaffrey off

Christian mcaffrey which is never a bad thing here Brock forces the one down over the middle and makes a great throw although the throw because of these guys being so deep should probably go to Christian once again let him drop deep and throw it underneath but great throw
Up and over good catch there by Jennings so this is what it’s all about get it to Christian get the quick screens out quick hitters where you don’t have to worry about them keeping Christian in and then every once in a while they’ll try to push the ball down the field and
Empty but when they get into those empty sets motion Christian out pay attention to him on those Choice routes
