Tear it down, new ownership. Take the reigns.
This offseason, time to:
Bring in a new, young, up-and-coming GM.
Bring in a new, developmental head coach. Kenny Atkinson, say yes this time.
Draft a lights out shooter at SG who defends, or a tall, stretch PF with that top pick.
Develop everyone next year, and let the team get better in what will be the final season before that Kai 1st loses its protections.
I needed a sign and this is it. They came in late in the off-season and didn’t wanna do anything rash. Situations were analyzed and moves have been made
I, for one, dare to be optimistic
For everyone that gets on here to bash mitch, check ya self. Let’s walk thru what he did for us while we hornets.
Sign and trade for rozier, signed hayward, got us outta of cap hell. Drafted nick richards, drafted miles bridges, drafted I believe malik monk, drafted lamelo, drafted Miller, drafted nsj, drafted mcgowens, drafted devonta Graham in 2nd round, drafted or signed the the Martin twins as udfa, drafted jalen McDaniels, drafted pj Washington, signed kelly oubre. He made some good trades in his tenure as well. The mutiple trade backs during the draft to acquire more picks and talent!
The last couple years were developmental years for the hornets. Most you are not going to understand that. The purpose for us was to develop the talent and not make trades that traded them away! We didn’t win, but mitch has done a great job getting us out of cap hell and setting us up nicely for the future.
Remember that when we start winning, the main guys that makeup the roster were acquired by mitch! Hella of a job turning this thing around, mitch! True North Carolinaian, he bleeds NC blue! Yall gtf off this man back.
