  1. Please let this be one of those deadlines where a trade gets reported like 10 minutes late

  2. This is awful. As usual we rely on the washed players on the buy out market while ducking the tax

  3. His legacy will be wasting the time of generational talents like James Harden and Joel Embiid

Two very good players who he never accomplished anything with

  4. I don’t understand trading Bev and Springer. I can understand trading just Bev but Springer for a 2nd to the fucking Celtics of all teams is baffling.

  5. I don’t understand why anybody ever had faith in this man. He’s never done anything and players don’t like him. All he cares about is jerking off to nfts

And Harris isn’t going to fire him because he’s too busy thinking about how he can buy other Philly rivals

  6. Dude is playing chess against himself and losing every single season. Starts off with great moves (Curry, Batum, Bev, Harden before the hindsight) then undoes it at the deadline.

  7. So I know ppl be mad, but I don’t think today was bad as a whole. Important to remember, other than Springer none of these players we traded fit into our plans after this year. And we got Hield, without giving up a 1st.

I’d describe today as painful, but positive.

  8. We got a dude who will start for us. We traded away mostly guys that get 0 playoff minutes. Pat bev trade was weird but even he makes little difference in the playoffs

  9. I don’t see how anyone can think this team is worse as team. I mean they lost bev who I like but dinwiddie is available if you want offense and Lowry if you want defense. They gained a shooter finally, not the one I wanted but a shooter none the less.

I think we’re a bit better off than we were yesterday but really in the same spot, if embiid is healthy we can beat any team in the nba in a 7 game series, if he’s not we won’t. It’s really that simple.

Personally I think the best time to makes
Moves is the offseason so keeping the same basic team and cap space is better than guys like Murray.

  10. crazy, i swear most people here were celebrating the harden trade and saying how morey is a genius and whatnot… crazy. that really worked out huh

  11. He wanted to recoup the seconds he gave up in the Hield deal so he dealt Bev and Springer. I’m confused as to what was so bad about today? If we were acquiring any of the players we gave up people would be calling it terrible too, with the exception of Pat Bev maybe.

  12. I dunno. This gives them a lot of flexibility going into next season.

This sorta said to me that they don’t think they’ll make a run this year but might be in good position to make one next year with another max player, a healthy Embiid, Maxey, and potentially Hield.

I went into today expecting no trades and now I feel like they have a better starting 5 and a worse bench, which I’m accustomed to after the past decade.

  13. Jk I figured it out. We traded a player to the Celtics. That’s a cardinal sin apparently and he should be burned at the stake…holy fuck chill out everyone. Let’s play “Philly sports fans try not to overreact” for 5 minutes plz…

  14. Jayden was about to be sent back to the G league with Melton coming back and adding Heild/Payne. He wasn’t cracking the rotation. I hate losing young guys because they are fun to root for. But we absolutely got better. We are losing games because we aren’t shooting and making threes. Heild and Payne > Bev and Springer.

  15. One of the greatest executives in the league that should have a ring by now but doesn’t. Fans are impatient and short sighted.

He traded 3 2nd round picks for a shooter that’s underrated on D.
Traded some useless scrubs and got some of picks back.

Beverley LOVE him but there’s plenty options to replace his production.

SIXERS HAVE $40 million in cap space
    5 tradeable first round picks
And MVP player a young emerging superstar in Maxey
One of the best coaches in the game

If Embiid comes back and plays like didn’t get hurt this team is good enough to go far in the playoffs.

He didn’t make any big moves but neither did anyone else 🤷🏽‍♂️

The only big moves this whole season were the rival raptor franchise that would probably try to fleece Morey for everything

Next summer 76ers will be the biggest winners of the offseason

It makes ZERO sense to go all in on this seasons Sixers team with Embiid having a major injury!! Be patient kids!!

  16. For a fan base that tries to act tough all the time, this sub is filled with the whiniest motherfuckers 😂. Today wasn’t bad at all. Morris and bev aren’t good enough to see the floor on a title team. Springer is an average player AT BEST and a bad player regularly. The season has probably been over since Jo went down. Just reality, no need to cry this much
