I would tend to agree still being a hawk makes one a loser given the last 2.5 seasons
What stats are PBPstats looking at? Dejounte is not an all-star when Trae is off the floor.
Hawks signing DJ for a long term contract is their saving grace. Although I think they had agreed to doing so before trading for DJ. Make sense that DJ said “loyalty” when he signed the extension.
Murray may play better without Young but the offense itself craters when it’s just Murray and no Young
if dejounte was even half the man he was on the spurs consistently when trae goes to bench life would be so much better .
the defense is one thing but what sucks more is it feels like watching him that most nights he’s not impacting winning at all . a locked in dejounte for 38 mins a night would do wonders for us and no he’s not the main problem but if he was THAT guy next to trae our record would look much different
We losers but it’s not because we didn’t trade DJM it’s because for the third year in a row the team stands pat at the deadline and seemingly has 0 direction on how to Build a competent roster
Media is so mad we didn’t dump him for a couple second round picks and a bum first rounder from 2 years ago that will get released in a year
