The more tape I watch the more I’m starting to love JJ, he makes all the late game dagger throws, he goes through every read before scrambling, he rarely looks startled and other than wilson, his WRs are 6th rounders or later. Ranked 2nd Comp % under pressure and only 21yo

1. fans who think hes already a “bust” also need to remember that even if you’re Caleb Williams you can go to a BAD situation and get ruined

   Minnesota is the best place for any of these rookie quarterbacks, between the weapons on offense and solid ownership and coaching I would certainly take a chance on JJ, now if we were lets say the broncos with sean…that’s a bit different of a risk and situation

   If he’s going to turn into a stud it would be here in Minnesota. I use the purdy test and if you threw JJ on the 49ers I really think JJ would’ve taken the starting spot from purdy and thats no slight to purdy.

2. He might be good. I’m not saying he cannot succeed in the NFL.

   But his college tape just doesn’t look like the college tape of current top nfl QBs. Watching him never gave me that “This is an NFL QB” vibe.
   Just my 2 cents.

3. I like the height, I like the intelligence, I like the youth, but most of all I like the accuracy

4. He’s got a lot of positives and we wouldn’t have to trade the farm to get him.

5. I think most people forget that we have a good thing going here offensively. Put a rook with our line and receivers is a blessing. Get a little depth on Off and hit hard at Def and we could be something special.

6. I’m just not a fan of him in the 1st, especially our draft pick. I wouldn’t be upset if we got him at the end of the 1st, or in the 2nd preferably, but I think he needs to sit behind a Veteran QB for a year.

7. Harbaugh had some very strong words about him. Everyone is expecting his stock to rise between now and the draft. I wish I had saved the tweet I saw going over some advanced QB statistics he was leading the pack in. Ideally we would take Best defensive player we can in round 1 and trade back up for JJ, but if we can’t get a top 2 pick QB, I want to ensure we don’t miss him later on if we go D in our current draft position and I don’t know how you guarantee that.

9. He has a bit of that burrow in him. I’m in.

   Edit: if we do get him I need a Vikings themed namaste shirt that says: Relax JJ to JJ.

10. Id love to see if KOC could develop him. Has all the tools.

11. I’ve said this a bunch on this sub but I’ll say it again, all I care about is KOC getting his guy. I don’t care if it’s Williams, Penix, Nix, literally any of these guys. As long as it’s someone Kevin believes in. It’s what his entire tenure will be remembered for good or bad.
