Spencer Dinwiddie listed as buyout candidate…He would be a nice vet to pick up. Come on FO!
To avoid a $1.5M upcoming contract bonus for games played, the Toronto Raptors are planning to waive Spencer Dinwiddie, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

What value does he bring? He doesn’t shoot well. Hes basically MF but cheaper and they’re both gonna be FA this offseason. Couldn’t make a trade but we’re gonna sign someone that doesn’t improve us?
He doesn’t want to play for Orlando. No one does.
No. Another guard who can’t shoot the ball. Fuck that.
Actually though, that’s exactly the type of player Weltman will salivate over so it’ll prob happen.
Nets fans hate him. Dunno if i want him here tbh. Should have went for dennis if masai wanted to dump salaries anyway
I really want a PG upgrade badly. But no to Dinshittie please.
If we don’t spend our 5.1 million in cap space, then we lose that value for no return at all. I don’t mind losing 5.1 million on a player when we wouldn’t have used it anyway.
I’d get him simply so he can’t randomly go off for 35 against us and then go back to being irrelevant the other 80 games of the year. Certified Magic Killer.
What’s really weird is that some years he CAN shoot. This looks like it might be one of the years where he can’t, though.
lol
He’ll want a contender not pretender. Lol
He has shot the ball very poorly this season. My guess is he signs with the Suns
He literally only plays well vs the Magic, so I’m sure Magic fans think he is some hidden gem. He is complete ass
Nah he’s a locker room cancer, one way to blow up a promising young team with good chemistry is to add a snarky veteran who talks like he’s Kobe.
Why does this sub continously want to bring in players that are going to take the ball out of Paolo and Franz’s hands? Don’t you think that would stunt their growth?
Another non shooter,.. why would he need him?
KPJ in the Offseason
I honestly hadn’t watched too much Nets basketball this year. I guess I am guilty of remembering him torching us on a regular basis. The most important thing this year is…1. get Isaac up to regular minutes 2. get some playoff experience for our young team 3. see if any of our expiring contracts are worth keeping, or doing a sign and trade at the end of the season. 4. Maintain assets to use when the right player becomes available. 5. Explore different lineups… like the Death lineup of Suggs, Franz, JI, Paolo, WCJ. Our best days lie ahead…enjoy the growth and lock in for what should be a bunch of great years of basketball here in Orlando!
