Pitching, pitching, pitching. Any success this year is betting on multiple average pitchers performing above average.
Would love to see it, but not holding my breath whatsoever. Any record better than last year is a success (given the current roster) in my book.

Last year was abysmal even by our standards. So I wouldn’t be surprised with a marked improvement. But this bit about the window of contention opening next season is insane to me lol. Would LOVE to be wrong though.

Vegas has them losing over 100 games and the only team with longer odds are the Athletics. Kind of a low bar to say they will be better than people think when everyone thinks they’re the worst in the NL. If they only lose 99 games this article is true, but the season and franchise will still be an utter failure. This is what happens when writers have blog minimums, ya gotta write about something and the Rockies have literally nothing to talk about.
