35-23 niners. Chiefs come up short in the red zone a couple times while the niners convert. Running game keeps the ball out of mahommes hands.

21-17 Niners. I think its a lower scoring game than some seem to think. Niners defense figures it out with no one to punish our secondary, Purdy makes just enough plays and we ride CMC for a large TOP difference and CMC wins MVP.

My brain says 34-20 Chiefs, but by heart says 24-23 Niners.
This one has been way more stressful than the lead up to the last two Super Bowls. Going in to both of those games, I thought the Niners had a better matchup advantage overall, but this time I don’t. That KC defense is scary with how it disguises coverages and blitzes effectively. Couple that with the best corner duo in the league and that is a guaranteed recipe for at least one Purdy INT. The Niners’ only saving grace will be the zone run. Either CMC walks away from the game with 2 trophies or zero.
On the other side, Mahomes is a Terminator. As long as he has Kelce, Rice, and a 28% deep ball catch rate from everyone else, that’s more than enough for him to casually drop 300 yards & 3 TDs. Absolutely nothing affects him. To beat him, you have to beat the o-line, which is never gonna fucking happen with Bill Vinovich reffing the game. I see no reason why it won’t be a repeat of last time, with zero holding penalties on the Chiefs, despite Bosa being held ~50% of the time. But I promise you they won’t swallow their whistles when they have the opportunity to throw a flag for defensive PI on a 50/50 deep ball to gift wrap the Chiefs a touchdown. It’s gonna happen. You know it. I know it. The world knows it.
I haven’t even mentioned their insanely good run game and how the Niners D has been getting torched on the ground lately.
But my biggest fear is the money factor. I don’t care how bullshit this sounds; when Vegas is outright saying to the public, “We need the Niners to lose” I pay attention. And you know the NFL AND the media desperately want the Chiefs to win. For a multitude of reasons: they *want* Mahomes to make a run at Brady for GOAT. They wanna fuel that debate like Jordan v. LeBron. He’s way more marketable as a champion, especially if he’s an unstoppable juggernaut. Plus this would solidify the Chiefs as a dynasty team. People either love or abhor dynasty teams. Emotion = $$$$ every single time.

The game is over and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are embracing on the 50 yard line. They kiss. Confetti rains down on them. Does he propose?

On defense, Bosa gets a sack, Ward gets three passes defended, and Warner gets a pick.
