    Super Sunday started early!

    Damn fine work today in spite of some strange calls by the refs. I have to agree with JK though that it was nice to hear the refs explain almost everything today. I didn’t like the explanations, but it’s good to hear them. This was also a *VERY* gritty game for teams that only meet twice most years.

  13. I love Chief as much as the next, but I love how this team consistently plays in front of bannister. There were so many matinée games or back to back the blues would come out flat. Back to back day games and the blues come out with a convincing 4 points. Not sure that woulda happened before.

  28. If I had to judge the state of Blues only by the tone of this sub, I would conclude the Blues are the absolute worst team in the league with no talent of any kind and no long term hope. The truth as a bubble playoff team with a goalie that has the potential to steal some playoff games is not the worst thing in the world.

  36. I’m very impressed with Bannister and the whole team for looking so good right after the all-star break. I think every Blues fans who looked at the schedule said this weekend would probably be ugly, but the team skated really well in both games.
