  2. We were close this year with a bottom 5 passing QB. I can see 6th or 7th seed being not a massive stretch

  3. That makes sense. This is a team on the rise with an improving roster. With better offensive play calling (and improved talent), it is reasonable to expect them to make it as a wild card.

  7. If Caleb has a Stroud level year we’re winning the division

    If he’s even average for a rookie (let’s say 3800 yards 30 TDs which was Baker’s rookie stats in 13 games) we will be in the mix

    It’s a good bet, I might jump on it

  12. We are definitely going to improve but it’s surprising they’ve definitively put us in a playoff spot already.

  13. If our coach wasn’t inept, we would’ve won 10 games THIS year with a bottom 5 QB.

    Those were historic losses, in all the wrong ways.

  15. With Fields yes. We can use the draft capital and load up. With Caleb that is up in the air.

  16. This isn’t a big stretch imo. Finish out 3 games and we’re a 10 win team. Picks 1 & 9 should only make us better, plus a decent amount of cap space is nice for free agents.

    However, we could fuck it up. Please don’t fuck it up.

  24. I believe it! Fields learned a lot this year. Now if we get a defense going. I can def see us making the playoffs

  27. Idc what people say. I’m 33 and been watching the bears since urlacher was drafted. Ive never had a good feeling about our F/O even when we had good talented players. Poles drafting and trading have been great for a GM thus far. Also people hate how he retained Flus, but it might be a competent sign of a GM. Bears history before was “blow it all up, everything is wrong” this time it feels like Poles is very hands on and aware at assessing the teams strength and weaknesses.

  28. Actually not a stretch considering we set records for futility in blown 4th quarter leads. However, this organization repeatedly finds ways to beat the odds in all the worst ways.

  29. Life hack: bet $100 on bears to miss playoffs in 2024, which is not necessarily unlikely per se… if they make the playoffs, you paid a small price to witness playoff bears football, and if they don’t make it, you can cry in your pile of 20s
