Saw this on Twitter. And we might see one of these teams in the first round.

Minus the Cavs.

  1. Yeah we basically just gotta hope Kawhi goes back to historic levels of shooting again. I guess we’ll see but ah well, fellas are at least trying their hardest with what we have so not a lack of effort

  2. Lots of schedule losses in there. Doesnt really mean much. Timberwolves are the type of team nobody wants to play in February because of the tryhard defense lol

Dont play russ 30 mins vs the twolves and shoot more 3s. Big teams aren’t unstoppable you just cant play into their strengths like we have been

  3. 4 of those loses were without Zu or with Zu on heavy mins restrictions. Hes not a magic bullet or anything but with the smaller sized team at the 3 and 4 spots he is by far the most important player outside of the big 3.

Also 1 of those lakers losses was right after the Harden trade before Harden was available, we were short nearly half the roster.

  4. T Wolves are clearly the worst because of Gobert, we’re scared to attack the paint. I wouldn’t stress as much with the Pels and Lakers, not ideal but nowhere near as bad. We’ve looked fine offensively vs both those teams, both Minny games we’ve looked horrible on offense. Zubac not being 100% is a problem, and Russ won’t be playing 30 mins when it matters most. If our starters play 36 mins plus, it won’t be as bad.

  5. The reason that Denver is the only Tier 1 team in the West is that they have nothing to fear from any playoff matchup. By contrast, we could conceivably be a first round exit if we get pitted against the wrong team.

  6. Zu does not look 100%. Looks very slow and limited still after his injury. Having said that he is our only good big. Can’t believe they didn’t pickup a backup 4 when that was an obvious weakness. March is going to be brutal

  7. Don’t forget suns who start 2 7footers who can both rebound and score inside.

    Don’t forget jokic either

  8. Big teams are a weakness of ours but we can still beat them it’s just a lot of context is missing

Both laker loses were close games and the first one depleted roster no harden playing PJ Tucker minutes

Todays wolves loss we got whooped plain and simple but the first game was close and we should have won

Cavs are a very hot team when we played them and it was a back and forth game

Had a shot in both pelicans game and just came up short. Not even mentioning how the second pelicans loss was coming off Grammys road trip and the team looked tired in the first.

These losses are something to keep an eye on but I’m not too worried about it as the year we made it to the WCF we lost both regular season matchups against the Mavs and Jazz
