(Woike) Darvin Ham says he thinks Spencer Dinwiddie’s size, on-ball defense and diverse offensive skill could put him closing lineups with DLo and Reaves at times. Lakers will look at three-guard lineups

Can’t escape it, can’t run from it. The three guard lineups will consume us…

  1. Darvin loves to keep this team small despite the numbers saying otherwise for his entire Lakers tenure and I don’t know why

  2. This mfer is stupid. How did he get hired as a head coach. How dumb is our front office to hire this man.

  3. we’re cooked, this the same braindead fuck in the WCF that started shroeder dlo reaves against MPJ gordon Jokic Kcp and we went down 30

  4. I fucking knew this would be the case, not even 1 game in and he’s got Dinshittie playing SF

  5. The only reason I wouldn’t want us to sign Dinwiddie is cause I knew this fucktard Darvin Ham would run the 3 guard lineups. I like Dinwiddie as a player but we have a literal Basketball terrorist creating our rotations.

  6. You knew it was coming .  Then it will be 4 guard lineups.  Then it will be 5 guard lineups.  Then only guards will be in rotation .

  7. Don’t forget that he’s going to have a massive hard on for playing Cam and Prince major minutes. Even less for Rui and Vanderbilt

  8. Steve Kerr said he reviews the Warriors loss to the Lakers and knows all the mistakes he made “and it won’t happen again”. So we have the worst coach in the NBA vs. Steve Kerr.

  9. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted, but do we not all remember how well those 3 guard lineups with Dennis, AR, and DLo worked last year? We’ve seen Ham make a 3 guard lineup work before.

  10. career defensive rating is 114, this season hes at 120

I got a feeling the only reason Spencer signed with the Lakers is because he was promised a prominent role and he is going to be forced into lineups that don’t make sense (AR at the 3)

  11. A lineup like that only really works against the warriors, see the series last year, it kinda worked against Memphis. I get having it in your back pocket for certain teams that play small but pulling it out every night would be asinine.

  12. especially against Denver. We know how that 3 guard rotation worked out last year in the playoffs. Dumb

  13. Not commiting to TP in close out but I’m sure he doesn’t want to close with DLO too often

  14. Honestly a better move would be fire Ham at the deadline for a decent coach who can call time outs and put good rotations

  15. The thing is, I’m not sure this is a bad answer. Rationally.

He said at times. And that’s how it should. At times we should go big with even Hayes.

Every player should be ready for clutch minutes.

You guys really want a coach to say “nah fam, we locked in to our 5 and yall dont need to stay in the mental zone if I call for you”?
