FINALLY
So for someone who lives in Columbus, this does absolutely jack for me, right?
I know it’s a step in the right direction, but hyping up an announcement for 5 games on local stations halfway through the season is funny
Pretty sure WUAB isn’t available on any streaming service.

Cool to have broadcast games, but a little shitty to then not have them on Bally for streaming. I hate giving Bally my money as much as the next guy, but I also generally get my Internet more consistently than my antenna setup can pull in a channel cleanly, and I have way better reception than a lot of people I know, so those people are screwed.

Who controls what makes up the Cavs media market? The fact that I am 120 miles closer to the Pacers stadium in Cincinnati than I am RMFH it’s insane that we’re considered “in market”. I just want to be able to watch games without pirating. I’d happily pay for League Pass, but I’m stuck watching bs choppy streams on my computer instead of my TV.
Wait. But I’ve been watching the games on Bally. I pay for Bally. Now I need to find a different subscription service to watch these 5 games “for free?”
I don’t get WUAB in Youngstown, and with them taking these off of Bally’s, I have actually lost the ability to watch these five games, lmao.

Guess I’m kinda screwed as someone outside Ohio paying for the Bally app, as much as I hate it. Why can’t they just let it live on both? Maybe there’s another option coming that I’m missing, but I better get credited for missing 5 games though (long shot I know lol)
Sorry, I know some people are hyped for this, but this is dumb. Anyone that has cut the cord and who’s currently paying for Bally’s is now going to have to go buy an antenna and hope they get good reception. This is while continuing to give Bally’s money for the sub for Cavs games that they can no longer watch on the app. Wow, so amazing.
I’m thankful everyday that my dad still pays for cable and I can use his spectrum login to watch on the ballys website. Jumping through all these hoops is so ridiculous. See if anyone you know that would be cool with letting you use it has a cable login. Has saved me years of headaches since I started using it when it was still on FSO. They shouldn’t have a login cap on them
The only tried and true solution I’ve found to reliably watch the Cavs is to move out of the state and pay for league pass lol.
