On @CBSMornings, Jayson Tatum was asked about Charles Barkley’s recent criticism of the Celtics. He said: “Nobody can win a championship until you do it. Nobody’s going to give us the credit until we actually do it… we don’t necessarily pay attention to the outside noise.”

  1. I fuckin love this man and I can’t wait until he wins one, because people have been slandering his good name for way to fuckin long. I hope JT kept receipts, but I also don’t think he’s as petty and vengeful as I am haha

  2. Exactly. People were saying that lately about Jokic. They said that about Dirk and Pierce and KD. Hell there were some people saying that about Lebron fucking James before he won his first chip.

  3. JT carries himself so well. I only see positive coverage of this man. Idgaf about him being “bland” as a lot of his haters like to claim. I’d rather him be lowkey like he is than trying hard to be entertaining or in media coverage for the wrong reasons. The slander is crazy to me.

    Let em talk.

  4. Don’t often see Tatum in a suit.

Game days and even interviews it’s usually just casual wear.

  5. Great answer, and it’s one Charles I think can accept as a good answer to his criticism. Nobody on this team I think is ducking the expectations. Sometimes we disappoint but that’s too by to happen, have to roll with it.

  6. I don’t get mad at Charles, Shaq, and Kenny for the criticism. It’s constructive. It’s calling out the bad habits we have as a team. On the other hand when you have dummies like Colin Cowherd or Nick Wright just talking nonsense, they can stick their opinions where the sun don’t shine.
