Total Rounds 1-3 draft picks used on each position over the last five years.
(Lots of different listings on defense with some pass-rushers being OLBs + some secondary players simply being dubbed DBs so if any of those numbers seem off that's probably why. Cool? Cool) pic.twitter.com/GGS5adKvXf

Zay Jones was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2017 draft.
Beane traded Buffalo’s 2020 1st, 5th, 6th & 2021 4th round pick for Stefon Diggs and Minnesota’s 7th round pick.
I think it’s very likely Beane will draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd round this year
It’s very bad timing… but I think the bills need to draft defense in the first round. Allen can win with average receivers…
Don’t really care for this take. Not only did they use a first to bring on Diggs, they shouldn’t get knocked for finding productive receivers outside of specific rounds. Shakir has shown he can at least be a very good WR3 for this offense. And Davis had tons of flashes early in his career here. Bringing on Kincaid clearly was to boost the passing game as well. It just seems like an arbitrary “stat” that purposefully is ignoring key facts.
One last thing, Josh Allen is the caliber of QB that can lift his skill guys. While every QB needs talent, we have to stop pretending like he *needs* three or four 1st round talents at receiver to succeed. The biggest step back for this offense was entrusting Dorsey as play caller. He just wasn’t ready for that spotlight and I’d argue was the one that needed a plethora of elite skill players to build a successful offense. Grab a young WR this year and let Brady build his offense.
…We used our 2020 pick on Stefon Diggs. Also our first round last year on Kincaid was publicly known as a hybrid TE/WR option, and he got utilized plenty down the stretch.
This clickbait post is pretty disingenuous.
