Just got back off the road and back to my computer to update the future draft picks after the trade deadline moves. A few people had requested the updated list, so here it is.
For 2024, of the 4 first round picks, Thunder will keep the best two, then Washington gets the 3rd best one and Toronto gets the worst. If the season ended today, OKC would have the Rockets pick (10th) and the Jazz pick (11th) and send out the Clippers pick (26th) and their own pick (28th).
Also, Thunder currently have no 2nd round picks for this year as their own 2nd round pick had previously been traded years ago and the 2nd round pick they had from Houston was just sent out to Charlotte in the Hayward trade.
Thunder started this league year off with 5 total picks in the 2024 and have whittled it down to 2 in what most people are calling a weak draft. In return they were able to make a deal for Hayward, shed salary for next year, pick up a Denver pick in 2029 and a pick swap with Dallas in 2028.
