  1. Probably a mid season reinforcement but he could be a huge one. There is still a ton of potential in his bat and he can be solid on the paths with his speed. As a righty too he would help give even more balance to the lineup.

  2. I wish they would be grooming him for Muncy’s backup at 3B and as 3B of the future. I’m glad he’ll get some play at least somewhere though.

  3. I really hope Vargas pops off . He’s starting off a lot better this spring training compared to last spring training since he’s healthy coming in.

  4. I’m all for Vargas learning OF but not sure Ethier is the guy I want tutoring young guys about defense

  5. What Miguel Vargas needed to do was spend the WHOLE offseason with Lux and figure out how to put 20+ pounds of muscle on his frame.

His issue is not his position on the field. His issue is his exo velo STINKS! He is not strong enough and when he hits the ball it goes nowhere. That is is problem. If he didn’t put some serious Lux style muscle one then that Dude and the folks whispering on his ear have NO CLUE what the real issue is.

  6. i love that the dude sometimes looks a lot like phil from thin lizzy. i hope he crushes it this year
