I turned it off at 0-4, what an embarrassment
I’ve never been this embarrassed by the team before.
We’ve never fallen so far so quickly. To go from record setting away win streak to start the season to this extended sub 25% win rate ans performances like this is insane.
We shouldn’t finish last in the division no matter how bad we are, but we’re on pace to finish with less than 80 points after maybe the best start in franchise history.
One of the very few games where I had to turn it off.
Kind of proves what an unusual collapse it was. Just don’t know what to say about it. It was just bad and the universe hated the guys tonight.
Every time this team feels like they’re gonna step out of this haze, they step right back into it. To beat Edmonton 4-0 and be physical doing it, to literally laying down against the Buffalo Sabres in a 7-0 loss… just confounding.
pain. absolute pain.
Blake has shown he doesn’t give a fuck about franchise legend status if they’re underperforming.
Would suck to see Kopi in a different jersey, I’d probably puke if it’s a western conference team.
This is not a fun fact
It’s almost like the guys don’t like each other.
Kopi’s having a major slump. He’ll bounce back!
This is what you get for beating the Oil.
Does anyone still think Todd was the problem? This team has a serious motivation problem. They came out slow and flat footed all night. Passes couldn’t connect, SOG were abismal. And not one single player stepped up and tried to get the fire going.
Pain
From a positive perspective, St. Louis and Nashville both lost tonight as well.
We have a firm grip on the wildcard, but we continue to lose ground in Edmonton.
If we make it to the 2nd round this year, we won’t remember how brutal this regular season has been. We’ll all take it as progress.
If we fail to make the playoffs, we need to start burning things.
Kopi’s still setting records at his age. Impressive!
I’m shocked and saddened by what I witnessed in this game. Just an absolutely demoralizing shit show of a game.
