He has been unbelievable so far compared to clang and stalock.

They don’t need to right now. Until Gibson is gone he doesn’t need to be signed to an NHL deal
It could be many different reasons. But imo the most feasible is: 1) you aren’t bumping stalock this year because historically the Ducks prefer to always have a vet goalie either as backup or third in line in case of injury. Especially since they are running with Dostal 2) realistically what good does signing Suchanek do? He’s always going to be 5th in the depth chart because of the above and as well the Ducks obviously view Clang highly and he has more history playing in top tier leagues whereas Suchanek is fresh out of juniors. 3) a good run at goaltending doesn’t mean they’re guaranteed to stay that way, remember Andrew Hammond? Hell even Viktor Fasth.
I’ve become a big fan of Suchanek. Been watching the Gulls away streams, dudes a wall.
Probably needs time to cook but hopefully he keeps this up.
