  1. I love this man so much. Even if he does end up leaving KC he’ll still always be a Chiefs legend and one of my favorite players of all time.

  2. Watching the parade on NFL network and they said as they cut to commercial, evidently Chris Jones agreed to a 3 year deal.

  3. Team needs to go all-in and CJ needs to take a big team friendly deal if he really wants that 3-pete.

  4. I know he was drunk and all, but this really hurts his leverage. He would look so bad to shout this on live television and then leave for a better deal.

  5. Well that settles it then. In all seriousness I really hope we pay Chris. You can tell he’s absolutely the general of the defense. After the niners scored and went up 10 – 0 he called a team meeting on the field and afterwards held them scoreless until the 4th quarter. You got such a young defense like we do you need a mature veteran superstar like Jones.

  6. It’s probably his agent’s fault more than any that he missed a game this year.

No one’s gonna remember that money in 10-20 years but they’ll remember these titles.

  7. People going to be real pissed when he takes a big contract elsewhere lol. He’s drunk. Don’t hold him to this. Man deserves to get paid and it’s better long term to invest in the younger core of the defense

  8. There’s only two players I would bend over backwards to keep on this team, no matter the cost. Patrick Mahomes, our best player and leader on offense and Chris Jones, our best player and leader on defense. Obviously, Travis Kelce is great, but he’s also 5 years older than Mahomes and CJ. You will never convince me the Chiefs win the last two Super Bowls with CJ. He closed the game against the Bengals and Eagles last year in the postseason, and then he did it again with the Bills, Ravens, and 49ers this year in the postseason. Aaron Donald was drafted by the rams, and he’s still there at age 32!

  9. Chris is suck a likable guy. There’s no reason he shouldn’t be on the Michael Strahan track of endorsements and post-playing career opportunities. His agents are holding back his earnings off the field as much as on.

Chiefs need to promise to spin up their internal PR teams to make him a household name outside the game.
