[Cardinals]: Ready for year two #OTD in 2023, Jonathan Gannon secured the keys

Exactly one year since the hiring of Gannon. How did we feel then? How do we feel after this year? Most importantly, how are we feeling about the coaching moving forward?

  1. Same number of wins as Kilff’s finale, but the losses seemed much closer. And with Dobbs and a ton of practice squad guys at that.

I mean…they were more fun to watch last year, imho at least. And I attribute both of these (admittedly anecdotal) points to coaching.

  2. I think he had a decent year for his first year as HC. BA came in and brought us to 10-6 his first year, Kliff kinda shit the bed his first year but made things exciting.

The true test is next year, that will show us where this team is going. IMO, we have a positive 2024-25 season, as long as Monti does the opposite of what we’ve done before and actually bring in A LOT of big names in the offseason. I’m excited, but I need to see what Monti does in FA and the draft before I think we’re good. Rn, with the same roster, we’re a middling team.

  3. The team bought in, even before Kyler got back. That is always the first step. After that, just have to wait and see
