[Daniel Kim] Hearing that KBO cheerleaders and cheer-masters are going to be invited and will take part in upcoming #SeoulSeries. Don’t have all the details yet, but sounds like both the San Diego Padres and LA Dodgers will have separate cheering squads.

  1. I don’t know if cheerleading would ever take off in MLB, but fans need exposure to different stadium experiences just like this and teams need to grow/adopt as well.

If I had to pick, I’d much rather got to a KBO game over an MLB game BECAUSE of these kinds of in-stadium experiences.

  2. Hopefully more exposure to overseas crowds can get Americans to change their stadium culture. When waving around a towel or doing the wave is the most animated you can get a crowd….

  3. Will there be unique songs for the crowds to sing for each individual player, though? And will the crowd have time to learn those songs before their first at bats?

  4. this is great to hear. kbo cheer squads are great. even in NPB the cheer girls are great too for teams like the Ham Fighters where they dress up in fox costumes
