This is absolutely a dumb decision. Totality begins at 3:13. Downtown Cleveland is going to be absolutely packed with half a million people. There’s going to be no where to park. The gates will be opening during a partial eclipse.
They should have rescheduled. I don’t think the city, or the region for that matter, truly understands how many people are going to descend onto the area.
Let’s be honest, both events are gonna get snowed out.
I bought my opening day tickets when they were on sale in November. The starting time was listed at 5:10pm. I tried to tell people but no one listened.
