  1. They have to fill the air time I guess. How can predictions like this be made when we haven’t even seen free agency and the draft yet? Didn’t this dude predict CJ would be an absolute bust? Also, I love how the Chargers continue to be offseason champions despite how bad their cap situation looks.

  2. I think the Colts might give us some trouble next season, but not the Jags. We should win it again next year

  3. He might just be self aware and rooting for us, bc his takes are often wayyyyy off. Superbowl 2025 confirmed lmao

  4. The Colts AND Jags ahead of us? I mean, I guess this could make sense if you didn’t watch any football for the last year.

  5. I mean we do have a HARD schedule next season, but I don’t see us being 3rd place in the division.

  6. You should know by now that “analysts” like Cowherd make ridiculous takes because that’s what brings his show and network attention and relevancy which means more $$$

  7. I can understand the perspective if you believe Richardson will stay healthy and maybe we get hurt with the 1st place schedule and Jags from not having the 1st place schedule.

That being said, I believe more in CJ than any other player in the history of this franchise and he alone will attract players to come here and ball out. Plus Indianapolis and Jacksonville are shit cities. 🤣

  8. Obviously anything can happen in a NFL season, but its kinda ridiculous that he wouldnt project us to be a top 7 AFC team next year

We made the 2nd round last year and have immensely more upside next season

You can make a bull case for the Jags/Colts, but its kinda insane that he’d project them both ahead of us where we’re sitting today

  9. How are you gonna say the Colts over the Texans AND Jagoffs to win the division? Dafuq?

  10. Sort of preparing myself for a sophomore slump. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Texans regressed just a bit with how their schedule is.

Default is pessimism with Houston sports though.

Also if AR5 doesn’t learn to slide he’s not going to make it through the season. Him and Levis. Which if they don’t slide and let defenders batter them all year that’s fine with me.

  11. Lol he also said CJ wasn’t good and had no arm strength last off season right? He just talks to make controversy 🙄🤣

  12. Colin Cowterd. This guy doesn’t know jack shit. I’ve seen quite a few of his videos where he talks with people who actually know what they’re talking about and he was outclassed. The redeeming thing about him though is that he does videos where he admits where he was wrong.

  13. It’s possible, don’t get me wrong. But I feel like saying the colts will win the division is kind of silly. I don’t see how the colts take that next step forward. Jacksonville should be the biggest threat. They have the 3rd place schedule, right?

  14. He has some pretty dumb takes. I remember him saying some stupid shit about Dan Campbell when he got hired.

  15. These analysts don’t know shit. Man has the Colts winning the division but the Texans missing.

  16. I don’t think this is a terrible take by Colin. Here’s why:

    We have a hard schedule

There is a lot of evidence pointing towards “sophomore slumps”

We had the element of surprise a lot this past season

One indicator of teams “regression to the mean” is the amount of close victories. We had a ton of them. Almost always the playoff team with the most close victories that year ends up missing the playoffs the following year.

Anthony Richardson / Trevor Lawrence being healthy makes the AFC South tough.

With all that said – we have a great young coach, staff all returning, and CJ- so we can defy many things with that. I’m willing to bet we win the division but it might be just as close as it was this past season

  17. Aight I don’t like the dude, but let’s play devil’s advocate here, the Texans did great this year no doubt about that, truth be told, their schedule was easier and more manageable this past year, going into the 2024-2025 season, they are playing some difficult teams almost every week if not every other week, so if the Texans do well this season, then we are gonna have a resurgence like never before. Fingers crossed boys.

  18. Who the hell was look at what happened this season and think that the Texans are the ones from the AFC South to miss the playoffs? He’s got two teams and none of them has CJ Stroud on it?!

  19. I just don’t see it. I see us having a harder time with a rougher schedule and having so many players going to free agency for sure. But, the Titans are rebuilding and Trevor Lawrence has shown he’s not this generational QB. If anything, it’ll be us competing with the Colts for the division if Richardson comes back and performs. They were impressive last year. Stroud v Richardson could be must see TV for years

  20. If there’s one thing I know, it’s that it’s always smart to make playoff predictions before the draft and free agency.
