The Chiefs now have the greatest 5-year run in NFL history

Hardcore Chief fan here but I’m not sure this graphic proves this, however. More playoff wins with the exact same amount of Super Bowl appearances and wins means the Patriots got more first-round byes. The Chiefs had to win two wildcard games where the Patriots never did. You can’t say the Patriots had a worse playoff run just because they were good enough in the regular season to skip a few games (Yes, I know it’s also harder to get a bye now since only one team gets one). Also more regular season wins is easily attributed to the 17-game season that began in 2021.
It’s pretty darn equal in my eyes. Both insanely impressive.
Dee Ford could have prevented this.
Isn’t the Patriots‘ run still better? They have a higher win percentage (78,7% vs 77,8%) and the only reason we have more playoff wins is because we weren’t the #1 seed as often as the Patriots.
NFL also changed the rules now only the #1 seed has a first round bye, before the #1&2 seeds had 1st round byes
This team felt more like the old Patriot teams. Solid defense and have your generational QB step up when he has to.
Got em in total wins by a couple as well but the longer season helped with that
