I just don’t agree – should be a B maybe and higher ranking too.

AR and Brents injured but Downs, Blake Freeland, Will Mallory and Jaylon Jones just a solid class.

  1. This is just because AR went down. If AR stayed healthy I can to shine this is lower than a B at worse. AR, downs, jones, alone is a decent haul, but Brents and Mallory both show NFL upside. These grades are what happen when the first round pick is injured.

  2. I think that’s a more than fair ranking. Our draft class is still pretty unknown because most of the class missed significant time. AR missed pretty much the whole season so we can’t really give him an accurate grade. Brents missed half the season and plays one of the hardest positions to transfer from CFL to NFL so he could still bust or turn into a lockdown corner. Downs was a great pick. Freeland struggled but could eventually be a good swing tackle, he’ll probably wont reach starter level of skill. Jones played very well for a 7th round pick but his ideal role I think is first backup off the bench instead of a starter. Everyone else was either hurt or saw little to no game time. Kinda hard to give us a good grade.

  3. I mean. A C is definitely fair. We had no one on any all rookie teams. They look like solid players but they are more so incomplete than anything else.
