Steph on if he’s thought about how long he wants to continue playing: “Think about it all the time…eventually you’ll get to a point where you’ll wake up and whatever your body’s telling you, whatever your mind’s telling you, it’s time, but I don’t think I’m anywhere close to that.”

I, for one, will never get tired of hearing him confirm he still doesn’t think he’s anywhere close to being done. 😅

  1. His last game will be a melancholy experience. He has brought so much joy to me and my family over the years.

My 4 year old son can name only one player, Curry. He knows him when he sees him and just the other day we were playing on the kiddie hoop in the back yard and he yelled “curry” after making a basket.

  2. Phew!

When he can no longer run around all game, he can at least be a 3 point spot up shooter who will stretch the floor. 5,000 threes or bust! 🤣

  3. When Steph retires there will be an outpouring of commemorating accolades the like of which the NBA has never seen before… he’s simply that good.

  4. Steph could definitely extend his career a lot longer than Lebron possibly could. He plays with less force and even when his athleticism and speed completely betrays him, he can still be a spot up shooter.

It’ll still be a sad day when he hangs them up. Part of me hopes he goes out on top the way Posey did when he still has some juice in the tank instead of playing until he’s completely wrung out.

  5. I just hope we don’t pummel him into retiring by fielding a really bad team 🙁

Hopefully our young guys continue to develop (PLAY THEM KERR) and our vets hold on long enough until the young guys can take on larger roles.

  7. 2 years left on his current contract. I’d be surprised if he extends it. The FO wasted last season with that bench. Did nothing at the trade deadline. And Lacob is already talking about how his goal in the summer is to get under the tax, instead of putting together a championship roster.

Steph wants to win, not be giving it his all while carrying 500 team.

  8. Curry is one of those guys that will get the Kobe treatment when he decides to retire. He is a once in a lifetime player and he means so much to the game. I’ll be bawling when his final game comes.
