  1. From the article:

“Los Angeles Angels star infielder Anthony Rendon has different priorities in his life than baseball. The 33-year-old former World Series champion revealed the sport has never been one of his greatest passions and that it has become less of a priority to him over time.”

    Kind of respect it….

  2. Nikola Jokić is one of the best basketball players in the world…. He sees basketball as nothing more than a job.

This is being blown way out of proportion. Not every athlete is going to have an undying love for their profession.

  3. RENDON IS A $245m DISGRACE. A thief in the night, here to cash a check and bankrupt a struggling team. ABSOLUTELY COMICAL that this POS so perfectly mirrors the Angels ownership itself. Lazy, Baseball hating cunts. The both of them.

  4. If he didn’t have that 245 million contract it would be a priority. He lost focus once he got that contract and injuries didn’t help. Just another example of potential greatness ruined by a big contract

  5. I think it’s the whole effort thing and being available to play. Having this attitude is totally ok, as others have compared to Jokic. But the thing is Jokic has been a consistent top 2 NBA player going on 4 years now and Rendon has been barely able to get on the field (some reasons out of his control), so yeah the fans are going to have a contrasting opinions regarding the subject no?

  6. Is it time for a mega thread on this interview? This same story has been posted 10x today with nothing new added, just the same reactions in the comments.

  7. The headline makes it sound like this is what he said word for word. Such clickbait and borderline libelous.
