From Yesterday: Dmitry Buchelnikov rookie of the week again in the KHL this week. 5th rookie of the week this year.

I know we’re running the risk of this guy unfortunately not being able to come play in the NHL, but my god does this seem like a 2nd round steal.
To give everyone an idea of his production, here’s a couple of household names that were similar producers in their age 20 KHL seasons (for reference, Buchelnikov: 29 points in 52GP): – Artemi Panarin: 32 points in 50GP – Pavel Buchnevich: 37 points in 58GP
Such a shame the corrupt IIHF wouldn’t let Russian athletes compete. It would have been cool to see Buch play in international competitions
It’s funny to me that a defencemen is one of the players of the week with a -2 plus minus.
