Where you at?

  1. I’m cycling between denial and anger. I hate the chiefs. I hate everyone in Kansas City. And everyone in Kansas and Missouri. And everyone named Patrick Travis Andy or Taylor. I hate everyone who listens to Taylor swift. I hate the eagles too. I hate everyone who rooted for the chiefs. Did I miss anybody? F it. I hate everyone who isn’t one of the faithful!

  2. Acceptance. It helps when QB isn’t the issue. Purdy’s game is the type that can last for a decade.

  3. I’ve made it to acceptance. Purdy did well against Mahomes and co, and I’m going to look forward to next season.

  4. I dont know why this would be relevant all i know is we just beat the lions, cant wait for the superb owl

  5. Watching lots of you tube clips, maddening, no holding call that would have given bosa a strip sack, instead a first down, 11 targets to deebo for 33 targets wasted downs, totally blown play call Buford didn’t block Chris jones….still in regret phase.

  6. I’m at acceptance now. I was at depression for a good while, but life moves on. I have a beautiful family to look after and there’s no time to get upset over grown adults making millions to play a game.

  7. Finally reached acceptance. But not completely I would say. Because with all the players we have and the struggles we overcame, Losing that game was UNACCEPTABLE. But it’s time to move on and focus on getting better.

  8. Acceptance

Sucks to be always the Bridesmaid and never the bride but hey, would you rather suck or keep doing what we are doing

  9. I was at acceptance last Monday. Somehow, this loss didn’t hit me as hard as the last one.

  10. Acceptance. It’s easier when it’s not the first SB loss. The team is set up for success and we’re going to learn from this. Plus… Huff will be back 😉

  11. Acceptance was easy this year.

Purdy is a legit QB, we haven’t seen one of those in forever.

Team nucleus is still together besides figuring out what BA will do.

The 9ers can only lose to themselves. Yeah the Ravens game was bad, but those were some lucky bounces and even with those the 9ers were still in that game until the 4th hit.

Finally, there’s no shame in losing to who is arguably the best QB of this era.

  12. I got to denial right about the time we could have ended it on a 4th and 1 in OT.

Anger followed pretty quickly after that.

    I skipped bargaining.

Depression lasted for a few days as I live on the East Coast and had to contend with many 9ers haters fueling my fight response….

I am now at acceptance. I don’t like the outcome, but there is always next season. At least we’ll have a new DC.

  13. Acceptance; it helps that is was a wildly entertaining season and I’m still excited for the future. We got a real one in Brock, and we have new DC rumors to think about

  14. Acceptance.

    * We have a franchise-calibre quarterback
    * We managed to reach the Super Bowl despite losing an incredible defensive coordinator and regressing defensively.
    * We don’t have any significant departing free agents (granted, cap will be tight soon but we can’t have a roster of this calibre without some financial concessions).
    * We have 11 draft picks in a class which is deep at our positions of need (OT, IOL, CB). We have the opportunity to become deeper and younger whilst retaining our stars, at the very least for 2024.

The next DC hire is honestly the thing I’m most nervous for. It’ll be absolutely critical. However, there were clear issues with our team this year and we still nearly made it to the promised land. We need to keep putting ourselves in the late playoff mix and eventually the stars will align.
