Thoughts on forward lines?

Gotta say I am a fan of this new forward line mix up, it’s something different.

I’ve been curious to see Point & Kuch split up for some time now. It’ll be interesting to see if Point driving his own line can hold up long term or it gets scrapped after one shift or one period. I also like that there’s still a scoring pair on each line with Stammer/Kuch & Point/Hagel and looks more balanced while still having that puck retriever type to muck it up down low or net front with Mikey & Tony.

Really hope Jeannot slots back in on 3rd line LW when healthy and Sheary is only there to keep his seat warm

Nice to see Chaffee be rewarded and elevated for his efforts last night as well

  1. Looking at this lineup makes me realize on a more direct level how much talent we have lost to the cap.

  2. Don’t understand why they can’t play Crozier and Merela instead of Watson/DeHaan. If it’s going to be like it has been, our gain is some younger talent getting a chance which I feel is more beneficial cause there’s not much difference in play aside from age..

  3. I don’t know why I let myself get excited and expected not to see Sheary/ABB but here we are

  4. I guess we don’t have any faith in Stammer playing center?

And since we conceding that Point is losing the faceoffsl we’re putting him with two guys who can get the puck back.
