I’ll believe it when I see it. I mean I feel bad for him but Sabol was just better last year and then we went and signed Tom Murphy who has been really good when he was on the field the last couple years.
Well yeah, he’s out of minor league options. So unless injury opens a spot for him by end of spring, he’ll be released.
one of the things that really bummed me out about Buster retiring is that he could have really helped Joey out. while that’s still true, it may have just postponed the arrival of Bailey

The window for any value was gone 2 trade deadlines ago
It’s sad that he’ll prob just get released and not traded. Idk if he has any value unless he has a decent spring
I hope wherever he goes, they can fix his timing at the plate. But I think it’s a longshot at this point.
Hopefully we can move him in a trade. He would be a good addition for another starter

All in all, not too upset. That draft was pretty atrocious. It is what it is.
Unless he has a good spring, the team is moving on. Tho tbf a lot of those top 10 picks haven’t had that much success as well
My expectation is that he could be a flyer level throw-in kind of player in a trade, if that team is in need of catcher depth
