I friggin love this guy. Excited to see how good he can become.
I’ve been super impressed with Alvarez. He wants to improve all aspects of his game. And in nyc, handling the media is part of the game.
It’s got to be more than a little daunting to learn a language and do interviews in that language. Especially with NY media which will take any misstep and twist it into a story that’ll stick around for a while.
Seems like a great person and he’s a top notch player, too. I’m proud to have him on our NYM.
As a person learning and teaching foreign languages, I’m impressed with his progress.
