  1. That was the worst TSN broadcast all year. Anyway, Lilly was nuts tonight and we have a goal scoring god.

  2. If you told me we’d go 3-2 without Rielly I would be happy with that,.going 5-0 is massive and I think this is truly the light switch the team needed

  3. Please please please keep this going with Rielly back in. Absolutely no reason they should play any worse.

  4. Im laughing at the Ottawa fans that were on r/hockey and r/nhl saying that without Rielly we were gonna “sink” and fall out of the playoffs. 5-0 BABY

  5. You could tell Matthews was trying to get one for Knies. Part of what makes him so good is that he’s not a selfish player….and yet he has 51 fucking goals!

  6. I’m starting to think this may be our best lineup (of forwards).

    Knies-Matthews-Marner

    Bertuzzi-Domi-Nylander

    McMann-Tavares-Robertson

    Holmberg-Kampf-Gregor (Jarnkrok)

No explanation needed for the 1st line, one of the best in the league.

With Domi on the 2nd line, Nylander gets to play alongside a more natural (and willing) playmaker. Bertuzzi gets to the rough areas and Domi plays set up man for Willy the sniper. Bertuzzi and Domi both also add an element of grit to this line. You saw it tonight battling with Durzi. Even Willy has fed off of it a bit.

Obviously McMann is playing out of his mind right now, but if he can keep some of this scoring up then this is a legit 3rd line (which we have been lacking in years past). McMann and Tavares are both power forward goal scorers whose play styles gel together. The teams that go deep in the playoffs roll 4 *good* lines all night. You see Carolina, Vegas, Dallas all do it. Staal on L3 in Carolina, Benn on L3 in Dallas. Robertson could also get switched out for Jarnkrok when he returns, but honestly he’s looked pretty good this year he just needs to get a bit better in his own end. Anwyays,

This configuration also lets us have a true shutdown line as our 4th line with Holmberg/Gregor-Kampf-Jarnkrok.

  7. Oilers and bruins tied 5-5 with a few mins left for anyone that isn’t done with their hockey fix yet tonight 👀
