If we really do decide to get Fields then clearly there was external problems outside of Getsy and Field’s relationship.

I’m not buying the rhetoric that there was ever tension between Getsy and Fields. Getsy said if Fields, “he’s one of the best human beings I’ve ever got to work with.”
Getsy seems to have nothing but praise for Fields. Plus he already has two years in the system, knows the plays, the terminology, just needs to learn to make reads a little better

Yes, please! I love fast QBs and Fields has made baby steps statistically each season in the league. And he wouldn’t have to learn a new offense.

How many times do these worthless rumors end up false when it comes to the Raiders? Like….98%. Not happening.
He’d have a better defense and supporting cast here so maybe it’s all what he needed to succeed.

I don’t hate this. I think he’s an upgrade to AOC and then we can use the 13th pick to pick the best players available. Maybe a O lineman or D lineman

This off season he is just all into tape and foot work. Realizes he can small move in the pocket and keep his eyes down field. No no no. My god no. Please Lord Jesus no. I wish I could call someone in the organization and tell them no. You guys seem to be building a great coaching foundation. Who in that fucking room is says we should go get that guy. Walk off the plank or die on the deck
When most Bears fans are happy to ship off Fields for Caleb Williams, I think that kinda tells us something.
I don’t see the problem, he’s going to be inexpensive to acquire and his contract isn’t some anchor.
