Does anyone know the reason why MSG doesn’t display the running shot count on the score bug like almost every other hockey broadcast does?

  1. Too expensive, how could the billionaire owners maintain their lifestyle with something like that in the budget?

  2. So you don’t get more depressed or the Sabres might not have gotten a shot on net yet both are possible.

  3. I know it’s not their fault but the entire production of msg broadcasts sucks. I love the stock transition music they use now instead of actual songs.

  4. If memory serves they used to have this feature, but scrapped it somewhere around 2020/2021 when they were just getting run out of the building every night.

  5. Related topic, I’m glad that they don’t show other games scores, as if we couldn’t just look at our phones for that, and most of the time I don’t want the spoiler of seeing them. So, thanks for that, MSG

  6. MSG is just pretty bad production wise across all the teams that use them. No clue why they wouldn’t use it

  7. I didn’t realize others did. 😮‍💨

I mostly watch MSG and it’s definitely not innovative.
