This Day in Kings’ History (2012): Kings acquire Jeff Carter


On February 23, 2012, the Kings acquired Jeff Carter from Columbus for Jack Johnson and a 2013 first round draft pick. Carter scored 383 points in 580 regular season games, 53 points in 73 playoff games, and won two Stanley Cup championship rings with the Kings.

  1. My favorite King of all time! I was super stoked when he came over here. I knew he would make an impact but I never knew it would result in getting a cup.
