Easily the weirdest Pats jersey I’ve ever bought

Found this on EBay earlier in the week and had to pull the trigger. An authentic Patriots 2009 AFL 50th Anniversary Brian Hoyer jersey. Hoyer’s rookie season with the Pats

These jerseys are incredibly rare because they were only worn for one game against Josh McDaniels and the Denver Broncos back in 2009

Does anyone else have an AFL throwback? Would love to see everyone’s personal collections!

  8. This is actually sick. The jersey itself is rare but a Hoyer jersey is low key fire in this format. Dude is still in the league and is still a worthy backup.

  11. The 09 throwback jersey set is so underrated. The red’s were different and better imo than the other throwbacks (which are beautiful dont get me wrong)

  13. I have a red Welker AFC throwback. The thing is absolutely massive on me but it’s an absolute vibe.

  16. I’ve got a throwback Brady one, but it’s the one that was “only” $99.99 back in the day.

    Not the Patriots but I had a Tyler Seguin Bruins sweater. I say “had,” past tense, because I got it in May of 2013…just in time for him to be traded that July.

    I’ve been too disgusted to wear it since. Drafted him #2 overall and they’ll end up as essentially a footnote in his career.

  19. That’s a beautiful jersey right there. I have a red Welker replica jersey in this style. I found it at a Goodwill in Arizona, couldn’t believe it.

  20. I liked that throwback uni but they had the crappiest performances in them that year: Denver away loss and Miami away loss
