Jayson Tatum this season:
27.1 PPG
8.5 RPG
4.8 APG
60.5 TS%
Only 3 other players have put up 27/8/4 and 60 TS% on a team with .750 win percentage — Giannis, Malone, Kareem. All 3 won MVP.

I don’t think we should, while I’d love to see JT as the MVP this will come as a talking point if we win this year anyhow.
I’d be more interested in pushing All-nba JB, All defense STOCK Exchange, maybe all nba KP, DPOY DWhite.
Having DWhite as a top3 in DPOY, JT in top3-5 MVP, all nba JB and all defense Stock Exchange seems much more telling of this team.
No his numbers don’t justify in comparison to others.
Please stop this dumb schit. He’s a great player but he’s not the MVP of the league. Fanbases’ bullshit pandering is just pathetic.
He doesn’t deserve it this year guys it’s ok. We need the fmvp more
Just like Draymond said, JT ain’t winning it unless he wins a chip
Nah, Jokic Luka and SGA are the only ones with a shot
Do you think Jayson Tatum is the most valuable player in the NBA?
You can’t use raw ts% to compare players from different eras. When Kareem put up a .639 ts% in 1980, his scoring efficiency was more than 20% better than league average. Tatum’s 60.5 ts% is about 4% better than league average.
He simply doesn’t have the numbers… and that’s fine.
SAS is already on this train (along with Perk).
Tatum would be a runaway winner if this were 20-30 years ago
People care more about stats than winning since the Westbrook charity year
FMVP > MVP
