  1. Trey Murphy was in the dunk contest last year and he barely drives or cuts. Needs to figure his shit out, hes gone from undeniable in the closing line up to unplayable.

  2. Tough game. Showed a lot of fight but that doesnt matter much this time of year. On to the Bulls

  3. I love this team, and I’m not trying to be overly pessimistic. But when the energy is high, and the stakes are just as high. We always fail. Just tired man.

  4. something’s gotta be done about Trey. I don’t know if that’s letting him put up a million threes in the g league or what, but you can’t keep letting him be *this* scared of, and this bad at, shooting

  5. Willie plays larry in the fourth for defense, but he got abused by bam in the fourth

  6. Certainly wasn’t a lack of effort from the guys, our lineup was battered. Z has been injured over a month and has played few back to backs

But still, Willie Green imho failed this team tonight. Not maximizing shooting (Matt Ryan), not running sets, not going ballistic on the refs after they refuse to call fouls on Zion. He’s a very limited coach no matter how you slice it

  7. Refs came back hard tonight after taking the L last night. They got that dog in them and won’t be denied.

  8. 7 straight losses to the same team is fucking embarrassing.

Edit: all 7 we have been held under 100 points lol

  9. Really wish this team could figure out how to close game. I know we were missing BI and CJ for most of the game, but it happens when they are playing too.

Build on it, move on to the next one

  10. Not going to read too much into this. Second half of a back to back, no BI no CJ for half the game. In the 4th we were down 4 of our top 8. Sucks, but this is only loss two in the entire month of February

Edit for clarity: every game counts, so I’m not dismissing it. But you aren’t going to win every game. Under the circumstances, you’d rather lose this one than lose last night imo

  11. Great game guys. I know it kinda turned it into a shitshow but that was a playoff feeling game. Wishing you guys luck in the postseason. + Herb Jones is special

  12. Only 15 points in the 4th, although today is a little excusable with all the players out but the execution in the last 8 mins of the 4th continues to struggle no matter the group out there. The coaching staff has to do better.

  13. Hawk and Trey: 6/29 shooting and 4/19 from deep

    Robinson-Earl was +16 and Zion was -23

Worst 4th quarter ive seen in a long time.

  14. Well that was an interesting game to say the least.

Shooters didn’t make their shots. Hawkins hit 3 3s but overall went 4-17. Him, Trey, and CJ before he went down shot a combined 7-36 for 21 points.

I thought Zion played very well in the first half and over the game did mostly what he could with what he had to work with and the complete lack of calls in his favor but it wasn’t enough.

Herb was excellent but those 5 fouls made him play a bit passive towards the end of the game imo. Also, Duncan Robinson trying to trip him was absurd.

Not to mention the back to back, missing BI already. Then CJ goes down that’s 60+Million not playing. Playing guys more minutes than they should’ve last night. Add all it up and the result isn’t too surprising.

Oh yea, it was also a Friday night, so no wonder they had trouble 😅

  15. Good game y’all (heat fan) hope CJ is ok 🙏🏻🙏🏻 hope Tyler is ok 🙏🏻🙏🏻

  16. No BI

Lost CJ for the 2nd half

Trey and Hawk cold from 3

Impressed with the fight the team showed. The whole team being ice cold and also injured will make any game tough, not to mention a Heat team.

  17. 13 FT to 25 is ridiculous. Especially considering we took almost 30 more shots than the Heat. The refs were objectively terrible tonight and directly lead to that fight starting. This is why the NBA is so hard to watch between all the pausing and the questionable to down right putrid officiating. Even the announcers were talking about the lack of calls tonight and missed fouls by the ref crew. Sheesh. Oh well, excited to see how we bounce back Sunday!

  18. We’re still the 5th seed at least and Suns lost so they didn’t gain on us. We move

  19. On the bright side, the Sons lost, too, in comical fashion with KD pump-faking a FT to turn the ball over with 5 seconds left. We keep fifth place.

  20. So Pels went into January thinking they had Trey back and Hawkins was a real shooter, but now the reality is that Trey is a G League player for the moment and Hawkins is shooting bad from 3. Lets pray CJ heals soon and Herb continues looking like Ray Allen because they improved shooting is on intensive care

  21. Tough loss, but we just didn’t have enough tonight. Lost CJ early, no BI, ejections of both Jose and Naji. Not to mention that we couldn’t hit a 3 pointer to save our lives. Hopefully this game is something the guys learn from.

  22. I love the high energy and fire but Jose gotta be smarter than that. You’re acting as a starting PG for our team and energy and you get in a fight with someone who has NO minutes. smh
