Now what would happen if a Devil did this to a Ranger. Not that it would happen on accident anyways, team plays too soft. Idk Rempe’s history, but I suppose it’s possible they let him off the hook if he isn’t a repeat offender
I expected this when Bastian came back out. I think they should have let him take the game after getting hit in the head like that honestly.
Hard to argue with this. Honestly what’s worse is Trouba targeting Bastian right after he got back into the game. That’s the type of goon shit that you can’t outlaw because it’s too subjective, but everyone watching that game knows what that scumbag was doing.
The only way to train a dog out of a bad habit is to catch him in the act and communicate that such behavior is not tolerated.
Interesting decision to just let a rookie with more PIM than TOI to walk away with pat on the head.
This guy has to be punished by the Devils players next game, but this team is too soft for this

Just remeber at the end of the day the scum bag rags and their fans will once again lose in the first round of the playoffs this year
I’m not a big “lelt the league handle it” guy and this is why. This is bullshit, that hit was *blatantly* predatory. Fuck DOPS, but also fuck this team and this front office for not doing anything about it. Idc if the season is done and we’re trading away every single person with an expiring contract, get a real enforcer and get one TODAY, you incompetent twats.
I mean really, this kid is a piece of shit. I don’t even know how to ice skate and never played hockey in my life but NJD sign me to a one year $8 contract and I’ll go out there and level people, I don’t care!
