I wouldn’t be against this. We need a veteran CB to line up opposite of JuJu. I think Sneed is going to be one of the Chiefs’ free agents that they’ll let walk.

This article is written way too early. We have no idea if Sneed even tests the market. For all we know, Chiefs could let Jones walk instead. With the cap space, they have a higher chance of keeping both. If Sneed does want the biggest bag (as he should), then Chiefs will tag and trade him. It’s very unlikely he hits the open market.
I would be all for it. Our CB room is so young, so it makes sense to sign a vet instead of drafting another rookie CB. We could go rookie at WR instead, since we’d have Pittman (assuming he stays)
I hope we bring in a good veteran CB in free agency regardless of who it is. We need experience back there.
