  1. The game was over as soon as JI went down but we’re at the point where Markelle should not be seeing the floor healthy or otherwise.

  4. Not going to complain too much. Tbh, our offense is hit or miss with Paolo but it is unwatchable without him playing at all. I think Mose did what he could all things considered. Players just couldn’t get it going. Atlanta has our number in general though. Them and the Nets. Prayers to JI, hoping for a speedy recovery.

  7. I’m ready to cut Markelle… his hitch is back and we can’t have him taking up minutes when he’s not coming back next year.

    This team is just horrendous offensively. This was the Hawks, they aren’t a defensive powerhouse and we still can’t put up 100. What excuses are left for this?

  10. Not going to beat many teams in this league missing 10 free throws and having 18 turnovers.

    Road/road B2B as well, missing our best defender and maybe not “best” offensive player in Paolo maybe not in terms of efficiency, but he definitely holds the most gravity on the team.

    It is what it is. I don’t know what sort of easy offense people are pointing at that we’re going away from when teams can play 10 feet off of two of our guards and several of our bigs, and the rest of our team are laughably inconsistent offensive players outside of the Wagners (and even they have some clunkers, Mo was awful tonight).

  11. This is the easiest stretch of the season, so they need to run the table (or close to it) to have any hope of avoiding the play-in. This was a trap game on a back to back against a team that has their number, so not the end of the world. But Paolo had better take some Tylenol and get back in there the rest of the way, because they need to take advantage of this soft stretch.

    Franz was disappointing. People like to beat up on the team’s role players, but we need more from a guy who is supposed to be Paolo’s co-star.

  15. Rough loss, not happy with the lineup from the beginning, Goga shouldn’t see minutes in the SL, but not sure if it had changed much playing Moe or JI beside Wendell. But you have to make a choice as a coach and unfortunately it went wrong.

    Franz looked tired as fuck, which is a bit disturbing. He seems really affected by b2b, especially on the defensive end, where we lost the game. Came out aggressive and vanished after the strong start.

    Beside that, the TO rate at b2b is something to worry about. Tough defense take a toll, sure, but we need to find ways to minimise this.

    I also don’t like to see the no motion 4 guys at the arc offensive plays, but this is probably also a sign of tired legs. Which is kinda strange since we are distributing the minutes really good.

    The comeback try in the 4th for shattered by bad defense as well.

    JI injured hurt me more than the loss tbh, hope he’s back in 4 weeks.

    Unfortunately the pacers won Vs the mavs, which I didn’t expected. So that’s a clear push back.

    Anyway, get some rest and defend the home court and we are heading to the 6th seed, which was the target.

    On a serious note, that game blew, but it’s to be expected when your team is offensively challenged.

    I’ve said it before, and I’ll repeat it: I’m not panicking unless the off-season goes by and nothing is done.

  17. I rarely complain about our lineups but I feel like we shouldve played Chuma to guard Jalen Johnson since we didnt anyone who could matchup well with him. This game really showed the importance of JI to our second unit, our bench was horrible defensively w/o him. Hope Paolo can play next game since the Nets has had our number also this season.

  22. Hopefully Magic doesn’t meet the Hawks in the play in. Or the Heat. I would add the Nets too but they’re imploding right now, so I doubt they’ll make it. Let’s just avoid the play in altogether.

  23. I would like to apologize to Paolo for thinking that he is the main reason for our poor FT shooting, since he shot the most per game.

    This game apparently enlightened me how wrong I am.
