this years pacers pick is unprotected. It’s their 2026 pick that’s protected.
So hypothetically, the pacers could lose the play-in and fall to 10 and a get a lottery pick that’ll convey to the raps. Highly unlikely, but would be funny to see.

If they jump to top 3 I will eat my hat
Pacers are closer to the 4th seed than play-in. You all are setting yourself up for disappointment.
