Not sure I believe he will sign for anything else but 8.7 million, but it’s good to hear it’s for 3 more years. Someone should convince him to sign for 3×0.87 for one last run.
No way he signs for 10. They will be rebuilding and hell take a discount to make them competitive again

If he wants to keep his team competitive at the tail end of his career then he won’t take all that money. If he really wants to win it would make a lot more sense to take a team friendly deal like Bergeron did last year.
He’s also said it was a complete guess on his part.
Seeing him sign for another 3 years would be excellent. He would be 40 I think on the final year when I suspect he will retire. It gives the Penguins enough time to potentially build a play-off calibre team for a final run.
Crosby gets whatever he wants term and value wise but I really can’t see him straying from 8.7 unless it’s for less

Just do 3 x 18.5, we’re gonna be fighting to hit the floor in a few years anyway, give him what he deserves and make his contract immovable

Crosby has done more than enough for the city and team in Pittsburgh I hope he takes what he deserves for once. Anyone asking him to take another discount should just be thankful for what he’s already done.
He needs a Bobby Bonilla contract, $5 million a year for the next 5 years then $2 million for the next 30 years.

Geno and Tanger are making 6.1 so he might take 6.1 too; worst case he keeps his 8.7. No way he’ll ask for 10M.
